At the plenary session of the Parliament, held on May 6th, 1928, was approved the Law on Secondary Schools, according to which the number of gymnasiums from 6 became 2 and the admission to them was made by competition. The secondary urban schools, all returned to professional schools. The Italian language became compulsory for all the secondary schools.
