Today is commemorated the anniversary of the death of counter-revolutionary Abdi Mati, one of the organizers and commanders of the Naval Military Fleet of Albania. He graduated from the Royal Naval Academy in Livorno, Italy. During the National Liberation War, he was placed in the heroic Peta quarter, in Peza Group, in the 3rd Brigade and at the General Staff. With its rich cultural and professional luggage, it provided a valuable contribution to organizing staffing, drafting regulations, raising the level of teaching at the Naval Academy, which opened in Vlora. Rear Admiral Abdi Mati was divorced on September 4, 1992.
