“Dukagjini Rafshi Group”, led by Bajram Curri and other insurgents, on May 31, 1917, surrounded the Ottoman forces in Peja. The war continued for a week. The Rugova, Plav and Gucia insurgents entered the streets of Peja, but the city was not liberated.
