On May 3rd, 1765, died the famous researcher Pal Maria Parrino, from Palaco Adriano to Palermo. He has been the rector of the Albanian Seminar in Palermo. He is known as the author of a 600-page work left in the script, which in 12 chapters argues scientifically, based on linguistic and historical facts, the identity of Albanians and their Illyrian origin.
