Kosovar patriot and antifascist fighter, Vehbi Rexhepi died, on May 28, 1997. He was born in Gnjilane in 1923. It has been known photographer and freedom fighter. Since 1939, he was linked to the anti-fascist war in Skopje. For his activity during the Nazi-fascist occupation, he was imprisoned several times. After the war, he did some political and social functions in Gjilan. For his patriotic stance, he was convicted and imprisoned in the infamous concentration camp at Goli Otok. After release, until he closed his eyes, he was taken with photographic art.
