The representatives of Italy, England, France and Russia, on April 26th, 1915, signed the Secret Treaty of London. It broke even more the tattered Albania. According to this treaty, Italy took Vlora and Sazani, Greece the prefecture of Korça and Gjirokastra with their districts, Serbia and Montenegro Shkodra, Kosovo, etc. and with the remaining provinces, was formed a Muslim principality. Albania’s first separation in 1913 had fatal consequences for our country and people. The fragmentation predicted by the secret treaty of London was with even more fatal consequences for our country and people: it practically threatened the existence of Albania. The secret treaty of London, firstly, was denounced by Moscow’s newspaper, “Izvistia”
