The agreement on the delimitation of Continental Shelf between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Italy was ratified by the Italian Parliament with the Law Nr.147, dated on April 12th, 1995 and entered into force on February 26th, 1999. Also, the Albanian Parliament ratified this agreement with the law Nr.7685, dated on March 15th, 1993 and was enacted by the President of the Republic by the decree No.500, dated on March 26th, 1993. For the Albanian side the agreement has entered into force on March 15th, 1993.
