On July 24, 1930, Bajo Topulli died a great revivalist, an armed guerrilla fighter, an activist of Albanian education and culture, “People’s Hero”. He was born in Gjirokastra. He graduated from Pedagogy in Istanbul. She taught at the Thessaloniki and Monastery Gymnasiums. In 1905, he founded the Secret Committee, “On Freedom of Albania”, and worked for the extension of its branches throughout Albania. A year later, he founded the first transect, which operated on the mountains of Korça, Gjirokastra, etc. In the years 1908-1912, he worked for the establishment of Albanian clubs and schools, in Gjirokastra, Ioannina, Korca, etc.
