The French painter Aleksander Kole, in 1925, illustrated with lithographs the poems of Byron that were published in London. Some of these lithograph, where are appeared the Albanians dressed in national costumes were exhibited in the gallery “Lebren” in Paris in 1862. The works of A.Kole with Albanian theme had a great echo in public for their authenticity. The French painter has not been in Albania, but he is familiar with the Albanian costumes in Paris by the collector Robert Ogyst, where were also based several other romantically painters who have evaluated Albania and Albanians in their creativity.
