Today is commemorated the death anniversary of the “National Hero”Shyqyri Ishmi. He was born in 1922, in Tivar. He participated in the resistance of, 7th April 1939. As the member of the guerrilla units of Tirana, he participated in many actions and anti fascism attacks, until on October 22nd, 1942he was caught by the fascists and was hanged, at age 20.
