In Tirana on January 21st, 1997, was held the second Festival of the contemporary music, “Nikolla Zoraqi”. During three nights competed instrumentalists of the chamber music under 30 years old. The annual festival is organized by the “Association of New Albanian Music” and the General Directorate of the Albanian Radio-Television. The January 21st and 25th coincide with the date of birth and death of the composer Nikolla Zoraqi, which for a long time has learned, worked and created in Radio Tirana.
