On 2 September 1925, the ceremony of the establishment of the National Bank of Albania took place in Rome, where the distribution of its shares was carried out. Belgrade re-enforced Zog and helped to crush the June Revolution, managed to secure only 10% of the share capital, while the lion’s share was won by the Italian financial group.
