We browse the first volume of the “Enciklopedisë së shkurtër letrare “, 1962 edition. On page 455, for Marin Barletin, is written “Albanian humanist”. He published in 1504, ” Rrethimi i Shkodrës ” on the heroic war of the inhabitants of this city against the Turkish invaders during 1474-1478, where Marin Barleti participated. In Rome, in Latin came out: “Historia e jetës dhe heroizmave të Skënderbeut “, a book that inspired Albanian writers to create Skanderbeg’s life.
