Today, is commemorated the death anniversary of the well-known personality of the Albanian culture, science and education, the academician Mahir Domi. He was one of the founders, professors and researchers of the first education and science institute of the University of Tirana and the Science Academic. Mahir Domi is known like one the most prominent albanologist, philologist and researcher of the Albanian language, professor who has educated many generations, persevering researcher, who has left many writings that gave the eternity to him. He died on 19 September 2000.
