The leaders of the Albanian League of Prizren, gathered on 19 May 1879, presented to the Ottoman authorities, the recognition of autonomy for the judicial and state administration in all arboreal lands. This was in fact an initiative and a downward request. The branches of the League of Peja and Gjakova had put it into force by force.
