In the battle of Oranik, near Dibra, which took place on 19 May 1456, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg took a double victory: broke the Ottoman army of 15,000 horsemen and restored Moisi Golem to the ranks of the Albanian army. Moses was the suitor of the great feudal family of the Arianite-Golemites, one of Skanderbeg’s main commands. But in July 1455, unhappy with the concentration of power in the hands of Kastriot, he passed on the Turks. After defeating Oranik, you handed over to Kastriot and served him to the end. In Bulqizë Vajk, he was captured by the Turks, but declined to be in their service and died of terrible torture.
