At the National Library, on May 19, 1997, the exhibition “Tirana through the photos” was opened, organized by the capital city and the Museum Directorate. 140 pictures of the years, 1912-1944, as well as explanatory notes, were an encyclopaedia about the city’s historical, social, economic and cultural developments.
