The prominent British actor Norman Wisdom, or as known in public, Pitkini on January 19th, 1995 arrived in Tirana for a 4-day visit. He had many meetings with artists and politicians of the country, he saw performances prepared in his honor and even he improvised interpretations of skits and pantomimes. He visited the objects involved in his project of medical assistance the Hospital no. 1 and 2, Blood Transfusion Center, the Red Cross Children’s Hospital of Disotrofik, etc. He was awarded with “Honorary Citizen of Tirana”. After returning home, Wisdom Norman was honored by Queen Elizabeth with “The Order of the British Kingdom” and so he was involved in the “List of Honor of the British Kingdom”.
