Albanian emigrants, poor craftsmen and craftsmen, members of the branch of the patriotic society “Drita”, in Draile, Romania, on May 18, 1887, published the first issue of the literary paper called “Drita”. She went out once a week and in the first issue called on the Albanians of Romania to join in the war against the Ottoman invaders, for the protection of the Albanian language, the distribution of books and newspapers in their mother tongue.
