The Chronic of Stefano Manjo, dated October 15th, 1492, is about the expedition of Sultan Bajaziti II, for the subjecting of Himara. “Turkish came from Corfu, occupied Himara and ravaged the country, says the story. The people of Himara left the field and went back into the mountains and fortresses. For the slaves who were caught, they use to cat the legs and hands throwing them into the abyss, and approximately 800 women with minor children were taken as slaves in Vlora. However the massacres and horrors, Himara never underwent invaders.
