On October 14th, 1450, in difficult conditions, George Kastriot, proposed to Venice to take over Kruja, so it would not fall into the hands of the Ottomans. The Senate of Republic didn’t accept this offer that could lead Venice in war with Ottoman Empire. Kruja was saved by Albanians ana many researchers have considered this act of Scanderbeg as a smart diplomatic maneuver of the Great Warrior.
