From May 14 to May 17, 1997, at the National Library, stood the exhibition of the Albanian press of the 1990s. For the first time in it were exhibited newspapers and magazines, published in Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and the Albanian diaspora. Many viewers were also acquainted with the published press before 1944, which for half a century was forbidden.
