In Istoc of Peja on May 14th, 1912, took place a bloody clash between the Albanian rebel forces and Turkish armies. Conquerors suffered significant losses. Fierce fighting happened also in Dibra, the insurgents were led by Basri Beu, a former MP in the Turkish Parliament. Successive battles of Albanians testify that freedom was gained with blood.
