On January 14th, 1921 was published the first number of weekly, political and literary magazine “Shkumbin”. The Journal was directed by Filip Papajani and then Emin Matrazhiu. The newspaper was expressed for the national unity, criticizing the serious economic and social situation in villages and cities. Also the newspaper was published together with the appendix “Shkumbin literary” with the writings of the collaborators from Elbasan and other areas.
