In the Bulgarian capital, on January 13th, 1897, began the publication “Dritrrëfenjësi shqip” organ of the patriotic society of Albanian immigrants in Sofia “Dëshira “. He remains a valuable historical and publicity publication; recognized as one of the first Albanian almanac. It describes the political events of the time, people’s struggle for knowledge, freedom and independence. It was composed with small format up to 100 pages, which include calendar dates and events, biographies of Albanian patriotic figures.
