Some owner from Fieri, on 12th September 1937, created a society for the irrigation with pumps of the lands of Myzeqe. During the Austro-Hungarian occupation, in the years of the First World War, foreign specialists projected an irrigation canal for exploitation of Vjosa River, a project that was realized after the liberation of the country.
