The military units of the French occupation, on the request of the Government established in the Congress of Lushnja, on March 11th, 1920 submitted the city of Shkodra, the national forces were welcomed by Shkodra, with great enthusiasm and affection. But the city of Teuta, in the followed days has faced a new danger, the intervention of the military Serbian-Croatian-Slovenian state, as it was called at that time Yugoslavia.
