In Tirana, on August 11, 1997, was established the “Free Entrepreneurs Organization”, which protects the interests of Albanian entrepreneurs and employers. The organization is open to any Albanian businessman who accepts its statute. The Free Entrepreneurs Organization comes after the creation of the Union for the Protection of Domestic and Foreign Capital Interests, which is open to foreign businessmen who have interests in Albania.
