At the beginning of June, Mehmet Pasha Bushatlliu, launched an army of 20,000 to take the Kruja Castle, dominated by the feudal family of Toptans. On June 10th, 1772, took place the biggest battle and after the defeat Bushatlliu was forced to withdraw.
