On November 1st, 1598 the bishop of Zadrima, Nikol Bardhi, participant of anti-ottoman movement, headed the Assembly of Zadrima. This meeting was focused on the problems for the organization of the liberation war. Bishop Bardhi was among the leaders of Dukagjin Assembly that intended to provide the support and cooperation of Venice, for the implementation of the plans approved by this assembly.
